'Echo' broadcasts a message to the room you are in, exactly as you type
it. The message will be suffixed with the sender's name in square brackets.
'Emote' is used to express emotions or actions. ':' is a synonym for 'emote'.
Besides 'emote', there are several dozen built-in social commands, such as
'cackle', 'hug', and 'thank'.
'Pose' is a variant of 'emote', providing random actions, appropriate to
'Remote' is used to express emotions or actions, but it takes as a parameter
the name of a player. Only that player will see the emote, and the player
need not be in the same room. '<' is a synonym for 'remote'.
'Rplemote' is a form of remote which takes no name parameter, but sends the
message to the person who last did a 'tell' or 'remote' to you.
'Shemote' is used to express emotions or actions to all players on the shout
channel and imposes a 3 second delay upon the perpetrator.
'Chemote', 'dremote' and 'quemote' are used in the same way as 'shemote' but
for players on the chat, drivel and question channels respectively, it does
not however have the 3 second penalty.
'Yemote' is used like 'chemote' but the message is only broadcasted to those
in the same area.
'Wemote' is used like 'chemote' but the message is only broadcast to those
in your clan/order/guild.
'Rf' expresses emotions or actions to all listed friends, as does
'remote friends'. (See 'help showlist' for details on lists.)
'Gemote' expresses emotions or actions to all members of your group.
