immortals

The immortals are the custodians of this world.  They exist primarily to
improve the game, help the players in extreme circumstances, and to police
Turf. (See 'help rules').

Ascension into the ranks of the immortals is discretionary, and each case
is judged individually.  As a general rule only heroes are considered for
such promotion.  There is no strict criterion for advancement to, or through
the immortal levels, and it should be made clear that any level awarded you
is subject to withdrawal at any time.

Immortals are players who have been rewarded by Turf Administration for good
playing, or work on the game.  This is expected to continue after promotion.
