Turf's site, turf.org, which is used both for running Turf and for the Turf web site, is Pentium 2 350 with 128 MB RAM and 9GB hard disk drive running Linux. The machine is owned by Maxima Systems Ltd, an Isle of Man IT consultancy company, and is colocated at Newnet in the UK.

Before mid-2002 two of the three laptops were entirely different - Mtf had a P133 with 40 MB of RAM and 1 GB drive and Fastjack had a P200 with 260 MB RAM and 12 GB drive.
