hitroll damroll

Hitroll, adds to your percentage of penetrating your opponent's armour.
Basically, the higher the better.  Although there is no actual limit to
hitroll, once it exceeds 20 it ceases to have any additional effect.  It
is still advantageous to push it as high as possible, such that any effect
which may reduce hitroll will have a minimalised effect.

Damroll adds to the amount of damage you do if you successfully hit your
opponent.  Again, it has no upper limit, (although a damroll of 20 would be
very impressive!) and the higher the better.

Hitroll and damroll can be affected in several ways.  The basic numbers are
calculated from your strength, and can be modified by spells, magical items
or special weapons and armour.
