Turf does not aim to provide vast numbers of pointless and near-identical races and classes like some basic Diku-based muds which have nothing more to offer, however seven races have been introduced in order to let people have a choice and provide a bit of variety, therefore here is some information to help you decide which to choose. It will also, of course, help to clarify what effect training has, regardless of race.
Note that the amount of hit points and mana gained per level is also affected by the class of your character.

Note that there is an absolute attribute maximum of 22 - boosting agents such as the advantages system will not allow you to exceed a level of 22.
